and if you google-news “marijuana testicular cancer”, you see articles all over the world.
But why? the study shows no link, just a vague correlation which, in and of itself, is less than newsworthy. So what gives? Why even run the story?
Could it be…. because Mike Phelps just proved to the world that pot smokers can be athletes and not just couch-jockeys? Got to re-demonize weed in the public mind, and what better way to scare teen boys away from pot than warn them that their nuts might rot off?
This is “journalism” in 2009.

Testicular cancer …
Testicular cancer is very rare. There is correlational evidence. All this indicates is more research needs to be done. Research Hull’s criteria of causation. You are right look how long it has taken to prove smoking causes cancer. You are also right that the media sensationalizes research to make headlines. However, self-report is a limitation in any type of behavioral research. But it can be controlled for with stats if the study is not biased. Research the null Hypothesis.

The Fred Hutchinson …
The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle is a renowned and respected institution doing much independent research. It think that you reject the results because you don’t like them. The same research center also determined that drinking alcohol raises a woman’s risk of breast cancer. I don’t care for those results. That doesn’t mean they’re bunk! Mr. Barth is not an unbiased resource. I find his position on this subject to be less credible than the Cancer Research Center.

I wish if that was the truth about scientist making that type of discovery, which they have already done. In reality, do you think that the Government Or Corporation will allow that to be unleashed to “The Public”, I wish. These type of Legislatives will do anything to stop any type of discoveries that will hinder their revenue. your so right! I’m a heavy pot smoker and honestly if you work out and eat well and in general stay healthy you can smoke every day. Smoking pot barely effects your health at all, much less than cigarettes and alcohol.
There is more scientific evidence to support that marijuana actually prevents cancer from spreading.
You can even avoid making your lungs unhealthy by vaporizing it or mixing THC into food.

Reading the report …
Reading the report from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center I found that several paragraphs were un-cited (particularly the ones with statistics bothered me). The fourth being what the video explained. 13th-”The researchers emphasize that their results are not definitive, but rather open a door to more research questions.”.

I only have 1 nut left from my cancer and I use medical cannabis for the very reason that it kills cancer cells! It also treats the anxiety associated with the stress of having a serious illness. I use a vaporizer so I inhale no cacinogens.
