Hack (triple j tv) Looks at Testicular Cancer

I recently discovered that I had Testicular Cancer and had to undergo an orchidectomy for removal. Antoinette Chiha from triple j’s Hack program examines the effects of testicular cancer on young males, with a particular focus on the issues of body image and masculinity. Despite the initial concerns, I personally felt no different coming out of the surgery. I post this in the hope that other males might feel more inclined to be open with, and talk about health-related issues, so that what is normally a managable condition might be detected early and dealt with.
