do vitamins cause prostate cancer??

I am taking AST Multi Pro 32X for boxing, twice a day as it says on the bottle. I mean i guess this sounds crazy but I heard or read somewhere that taking multivitamins causes prostate cancer. So whats the deal?
should I take like one a day to reduce my chances of getting prostate cancer

    You should first know the normal dose of various vitamins and compare it with that available in the medicine/tonic you take. It should not be higher than required.
    Vit C and B are water soluble therefore they are excreted in urine when taken in excess. Other vitamins are fat soluble, and when taken in excess , they are stored in the body. When they become too high, they May cause problems by vitaminosis.
    It is far from surety that your tonic may cause prostate cancer.
